We Care for our Community - The Ripple Effect
When tragedy or a pandemic strikes, we first focus on the epicenter—the support our memebers and community needs, the school where the shooting took place, the family who experienced loss in a natural disaster, the addict who has relapsed. As time goes on, victims far from the epicenter feel the ripple effect of the tragedy and need support.
At Magellan, we know that when tragedy strikes, the entire community is affected. That’s why we operate from every angle, during and long after crisis situations, to make sure no one is left behind.
The COVID-19 pandemic and opioid epidemic are just two crises where we intervened, and in turn, showcased our community wide approach to helping those in need.
