Job DescriptionThe Vice President – Informatics will lead a diverse team of Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers responsible for the development and distribution of analytically-based reporting that supports the Behavioral and Specialty Health Business Unit of Magellan Health. This analytic reporting will take the form of AdHoc (one-time and recurring) Reporting and Application/Reporting development - with the goal to create BI tool applications that support an overall reduction in ad hoc reporting, and an improvement in the overall accuracy and data integrity while improving efficiency of these reporting activities. The analytical reporting involved supports both internal Magellan operational departments as well as external, client facing reporting. The Vice President – Informatics will provide the leadership necessary to lead this diverse team through organizational change. They will need to also have the skills to juggle multiple competing priorities for a wide spectrum of business leader constituents through scoping, development and implementation. Knowledge of and experience in handling, manipulating and analyzing health care data is required.

- Ability to articulate a vision, and develop an esprit de corps to lead and coach a dynamic team
