BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AND ANALYTICS DEVELOPER
Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for building, deploying and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) systems that integrate with databases, data warehouses/marts and Datalake. The primary focus of the role is to build dashboards and/or reports according to the identified technical requirements. Responsibilities also include supporting adhoc requests by crafting and executing queries against multiple sources upon request.
- Build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. dashboards using QlikView/Sense; Reports using NPrinting).
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
- Create tools to store data (e.g., OLAP cubes / QVD layer).
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and migrate existing BI systems into new BI platforms (e.g., Qlik).
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
- Develop and update technical documentation.

ResponsibilitiesWill substitute an additional three or more years of direct experience in business intelligence, data analytics or statistics for a bachelors degree; otherwise, a bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer and information sciences or similar is required. Prior professional or academic experience working with data and reports for decision making or analytical/forecasting purposes. Experience working with end users and customers, preferably with training and demonstrating solution capabilities. Experience implementing new technological solutions in a business setting. Prefer experience using multiple databases and tools and using leading or bleeding edge technologies.Familiarity with Databases, including the ability to write queries using standard query languages ? familiarity with Business Intelligence environments IBM Cognos, Business Objects, Hyperion, Actuate, very desirable. Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts, including various forms of modeling (dimensional and relational) and warehousing strategies desirable. The ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies while considering the business needs and direction.
