Job Description

Regional Lead Wing Drug Demand Reduction Program Managers (WDDRPMs) manage the WDDRPMs in their region and conduct WDDRPM duties.
  • Conduct DDRP in accordance with the AFI 90-507 and AFMAN 44-198, DoD requirements and manage all aspects of the DDRP.
  • The WDDRPM provide daily oversight of the DDR program. and are the focal point for installation-level drug testing, to include drug prevention, education and outreach initiatives, and coordinates drug testing program requirements and activities IAW AFI 90-507 and AFI 90-507 guidelines.
  • The WDDRPM determines the number of DTPAMs and Observers required to perform the scheduled monthly testing and are responsible for their hiring and supervision.
  • The WDDRPMs ensures specimens are collected, packaged, stored, and shipped IAW AFI 90-507 and AFMAN 44-198 and relative NGB/SGOH DDRP guidance.
  • The Region Lead WDDRPMs are responsible for ensuring the WDDRPMs, DTPAMs and Observers within their region meet all training requirements as directed in the PWS.

Responsibilities

Regional Lead Wing Drug Demand Reduction Program Managers (WDDRPMs) must adhere to the following AFI 90-507 and AFMAN 44-198 requirements to ensure integrity and trustworthiness of the DDRP:

  • Individuals with no medical or mental health condition which will preclude she/he from responsibly performing her/his assigned duties as a WDDRPM.
  • The Contractor shall provide documentation to the COR signed by the WDDRPMs that certifies that she/he has no record of conviction for any offense or history of past misconduct involving dishonesty, fraud, or drug

abuse (including use, possession, or distribution). Provide within 15 calendar

days of WDDRPM employment date.

  • CAC Requirement and background investigation must be completed IAW paragraph 1.4.5.4 of this PWS.
  • The WDDRPM requires prior military service, preferably in the Air National Guard, Army National Guard, or active Air Force. Prior experience in DoD alcohol and drug abuse programs is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
