Job DescriptionThe Sr. Desktop Administrator reports directly to the IT Manager. They are a local point of contact for end-users (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) to provide advanced support and maintenance of their desktop computing environments and phone services. Provides leadership and guidance in advanced technical support and diagnoses of PC hardware and software problems. Oversees desktop responsibility of IT Help Desk requests, ensuring all tickets are responded to and closed in timely manner.
This position will monitor operate and improve production services and provide end user support.
Essential Functions'- Understand key issues that happen within the area that you support and drive for issue resolution.
- Guide and coach junior team members as needed.
- Improve the production operations for the area your support through automation and better processes.
