Job Description

Looking for a Sr. IT Architect to provide technical leadership and develop strategic and tactical plans to execute on business strategies and achieve desired outcomes. This position has the ability to work remote / telecommute for the right candidate.

Must have technologies include Java, .NET, C#.

Experience with legacy system modernization, leading transformative initiatives (agile, lean, modernizations)

Nice to have Technologies: AS400 / Mainframe (nice to have), SnapLogic, UiPath, ServiceNow.

This position provides architecture support for one large project or a few small to mid-sized projects.

Responsibilities to include:

• Develop and execute plans to drive lean innovative solutions that promote agility and modernize IT.

• Identify ways to increase employee knowledge and skills to support future growth

• Develop and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with other IT services groups.

• Create architecture models that reflect the strategic goals and objectives.

• Establish development standards and best practices, educate, mentor and coach teams. Establish KPIs to measure and adopt.

• Proven success as a champion of transformation in the area of Continuous Improvement, Agile, and Lean development practices.

• Influence changes and system enhancements to business processes, policies, and infrastructure to deliver the most effective IT services.

• Manage the selection, evaluation, contracting and integration of externally available hardware, software, and processes to deliver business solutions.

Essential Functions

- Work independently as an architect on a small to mid-sized project.
- Develop application designs that meet the functional requirements of the solution.
- Work together with architects from other domains (application, infrastructure, security, database) to design a solution that meets the non-functional requirements of the solution, this includes Security, Scalability, Performance, Availability and Resiliency of the solution.    

- Mindful of the Healthcare Industry and Digital Health trends.  "

  • Experience in health care or insurance industries.
  • AWS Certification or Exposure (Architect, Sysops, Developer).
  • Service Now Certification.
  • 8+ years of related experience including experience working with Agile Methods and modern technology environments.
  • Critical Thinker.
  • Strong data modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving techniques.
  • Experience leading cross functional project teams, workgroups.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
