Quality Improvement Coordinator

Job Description

Supports the corporate quality improvement team. Assists in maintenance and implementation of programs within quality in accordance with quality, state, federal and accreditation standards. Coordinates meetings, minutes and action plans. Assists with travel plans, expense reports and appointment management.

● Assists with tracking data collection, reporting and monitoring for key performance measures 
● Tracking of initiative implementation for state, federal and accreditation compliance activities 
● Follows key quality strategies for provider, member and community interventions 
● Assists with tracking member outreach activities 
● Supports team with key quality activities to ensure they are completed on time and accurately 
● Assists new quality employees with onboarding activities 
● Collaborates on presentations as needed 
● Collects documentation to maintain critical quality improvement functions 
● Works with quality team to gather program results for reporting as required 
● Assists quality team by collecting documentation of QI compliance for survey, state, federal and accreditation compliance  
● Ensure polices and procedures are being followed for quality activities 
● Utilize tracking templates for quality activities 
● Support quality team in scheduling travel and completing expense reports 
● Schedules quality meetings, develops agenda, ensures presentations are submitted and tracks action items 
● Coordinates travel and manages expenses 
● Develops action plans and ensures completion by quality team 
● Performs other duties and projects as assigned to support the corporate quality team

 Bachelor’s degree in related discipline 
● Demonstrated experience in leading significant cross-functional work 
● Experience with calendar, travel and expense management 
● Proven experience with meeting coordination, management and tracking 
● Knowledge of action plan development and tracking to ensure completion 
● Basic understanding of healthcare industry standards, HEDIS and NCQA
